Here’s a brief snapshot of what to expect… 

Professor Greg McCann, Director, Family Business Center, Stetson University, Florida. Greg will discuss the vital place of family businesses in America - and their recognition as such - and indicate how the experience might apply in Australia. He will explain how universities, business professionals and government enhance the success of family businesses. 

The Hon Jane Lomax-Smith, MP, (Minister for Small Business), will discuss how the Government supports family business. 

Local leaders will discuss what makes SA family businesses successful. Terry Crabb (Aldinga Turkeys), George Kraguljac (Advanced Rapid Robotic Manufacturing, Biotech Australia), Ernest Orel (Finsbury Printing) will share their secrets on how they have ‘learned to take the initiative and create change’. 

Also, new proposals will be discussed to prepare the next generation for leadership in the SA Family Business Youth Development Program.
