Smartlink seminar topics

John will outline the principles of lean thinking and show how simplicity and visibility can lead to the reduction of waste and increased productivity. The focus will be on the adoption of these principles in small and medium-sized enterprises and the relationship between techniques such as JIT and TQM and lean thinking.

While the focus for John’s presentations will be an introduction to lean thinking, two other possible topics are lean accounting and quality management as it relates to lean thinking, with the focus in all cases being on the adoption of these techniques by small & medium sized enterprises. John’s presentations will be consistent with the lean thinking concepts embodied in the presentations of Ann Esain and Lynn Massey.
