The Operations Management (OM) Group at Warwick Business School focuses on the design, planning and control and improvement of operations in both the manufacturing and service sectors. The group is known for its high quality teaching and research and has developed effective partnerships with many local and international organisations.

Dr Croom has lectured and consulted widely in the areas of electronic procurement and e-business, supply and distribution channel design, strategic development, process improvement and customer-supplier relationships. His role as Head of the Supply Strategy Research Unit includes chairing the Warwick E-Business Forum, a network of practitioners and experts in e-business.
Amongst organisations with whom he has worked are UK Government, Commonwealth Business Council, LloydsTSB, Royal Bank of Scotland, Jaguar Cars, Rover Group, NSK-RHP, Philips and Mars. Amongst his many publications is the book, Supply Chain Management.
