Cameron Wold
Cameron Wold has considerable experience in both developing and studying Kitchen Incubators and Community Shared Use Kitchens in the USA. He works with the NxLeveL Training Network at the University of Colorado in Denver USA. The NxLeveL Training Network is a multi-state network of non-profit organisations that develops entrepreneurial training for entrepreneurs, start-ups, youth, and micro businesses and more information can be found at www.nxlevel.orgHe is being brought to Australia for his expertise and knowledge about what are called kitchen incubators and community use kitchens. He was a primary author and editor of the NxLeveL publication Establishing a Shared Use Commercial Kitchen, which was supported by the USWest Foundation, Western Entrepreneurial Network and the University of Colorado Denver. He developed and ran the first US wide conference on the topic and has run many workshops in the USA including a Pre-Conference Institute: Establishing a Shared Use Kitchen Incubator Workshop at the 15th International Conference on Business Incubation in San Jose, 2001. His expertise in Kitchen Incubators and community shared use kitchens covers establishment, operation and evaluation. He has analysed the results of 14 Kitchen incubators in the USA leading to very useful data and a range of key lessons. Additionally, he has led teams in conducting numerous feasibility studies for communities across America interested in determining if this unique community development tool is appropriate for their area.
