Background

My career has so far involved, research in plant sciences (plant reproductive biology and biotechnology in agronomy and horticulture), university teaching in biology and plant sciences (Australia, NZ & USA), research management as a university Department Head (USA) and CSIRO Division Chief (Australia), and, currently, the stimulation of innovation via knowledge networking.  I am a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management, and a Director of the Triton Foundation (provides commercialisation assistance to inventors), and an Affiliate Professor in Science at Adelaide University.
